Greenlaw Town Hall restoration
Gallery
owner Tony Huggins-Haig, in conjunction with artists Willy Hogg and
Andrew Brotherstone, produced artwork to assist the restoration fund and
raise awareness for the project.
Greenlaw
Town Hall had fallen into serious disrepair. The roof had started to fall in. To save the building
and return it to a usable community hub would require a massive amount of money, effort and time.
The artists set to it, producing four paintings to highlight the plight of the
building, which was reported by several media outlets.
The
project has been a success and the building is now restored and ready to resume its place as the heart
of the community for events such as weddings and gigs.
